I have been involved with manufacturing for 30 years both directly in operations for 13 years, having had roles in production management, process engineering, product engineering and a 2 year stint as CEO for a manufacturing entity.  I then moved into investment banking in the manufacturing sector at the Industrial Development Corporation and have been supporting businesses in green fields, brown fields and expanding existing businesses in this space for the past 17 years. There is a focus on both industrialisation of the South African market and a renewed focus on supporting expansion in the Sub Saharan African region.
